As a Contracts Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of construction projects. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the contracts throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements, managing cost control measures, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure project success.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the contracts throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and project specifications
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to contract requirements
- Manage and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and other relevant correspondence
- Develop and manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely completion and cost-effective execution
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to resolve any issues or disputes that may arise during the project
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure project specifications and objectives are met
- Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, highlighting any changes or challenges that may impact project delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the Construction industry
- Extensive knowledge of construction contracts, laws, and regulations
- Strong project management skills, with a focus on cost control and schedule management
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
